Abstract
People with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) usually present disruptive behaviors, which generate aggressive behaviors, or self aggressive that make it difficult to interact with people in different contexts, especially in the school space, for this reason, it's considered fundamental to improve disruptive behaviors through a system of educational activities, to promote their autonomy and independence and have a better quality of life. The objective of this research is to propose a system of educational activities to improve disruptive behavior in an adolescent with ASD in the 2nd year of high school of the Unidad Educativa Especializada “Manuela Espejo”. It's assumed from an interpretive-qualitative paradigm and the single case study method. The data was collected through documentary analysis, semi-structured interviews, and participant observation. For the proposal, the system of educational activities was elaborated, in which the methodological orientations are detailed concerning the role of teacher, family, and student, in addition, it is organized in three moments: induction, construction, and reinforcement, also, the objectives, materials, time, development and evaluation, the same that takes into account the positive reinforcement through the behavioral traffic light and the checklist. Finally, Finally, the conclusions are declared, the same ones that have correspondence with the proposed objectives. In addition, the main findings are detailed and synthesized: the importance of anticipating changes in routines to avoid disruptive scenarios and the use of methodological tools to optimize the teaching and learning process and improve disruptive behaviors.
