Abstract
The expression inclusive and quality education is one of the most used in the educational field; that entry implies the active involvement of families, even more nowadays where it seeks to effectively serve all individuals considering their diversity. However, the participation of families in the inclusive processes of education involves an approach based on the exercise of values. In this order, the objective of this work was to contribute to family education for the development of inclusive values in second-year EGB students of the Educational Unit "Nicanor Aguilar Maldonado" of the canton of Gualaceo-Azuay. The study considered an interpretative paradigm supported by a qualitative research approach. As a research method, the case study was taken into account. Families in the second year of EGB were considered the unit of analysis, and family formation in values was the category of analysis. The research determined the coincidence in current studies on the importance of family education in values in the logic of the first level of childhood socialization. It also showed that the greater the practice of values in the family, the better the levels of adaptation to inclusive processes in childhood. Finally, the results of the study gave rise to an innovative proposal based on workshops for families, which was positively validated by the criteria of specialists.
