Abstract
The present research carried out is our Curricular Integration Work (TIC), it focuses on the teaching - learning of reading in the area of Language and Literature in second year of EGB (Basic Education). Our research seeks to make known the importance of promoting reading from an early age, in order to motivate students to create an interest in reading so that they can apply it in their education. Therefore, we have set as an objective to promote the teaching-learning process of reading in the area of Language and Literature in the second grade of EGB. Within our theoretical framework, we will analyze different research and positions of national and international authors. Then, we will focus on topics such as: Didactics of reading, the Language and Literature Curriculum and the Teaching-Learning Process of reading. Our methodology is based on a qualitative approach with an action-research method. For this, we applied various techniques such as: participant observation, documentary analysis and interview; through instruments such as: field diaries, semi-structured guides for the interview and diagnostics. All this was necessary to meet the objectives and thus create a proposal that is a booklet with didactic activities to help improve or implement reading in second grade students of EGB.
