Educación sexual en la primera infancia: una mirada transversal.

Abstract
This research pretends sensitize to educators and families about the importance of sexual education in early childhood, which was made in Manuel J. Calle high school, located in Cuenca city. In this research, the presence of anomalous behaviors in Initial Education students of a sexual nature was identified as a study problem (kisses on the mouth, masturbation activities, indecent assault, etc.), without being intervened of integral way by teachers. To provide a holistic education, it was designed a guide of activities called “Amo, cuido y respeto mi cuerpo”, which contains twelve activities based on the methodology game-work (Montessori) mediated by the learning-by-discovery strategy (Bruner). A search was made of international, national and local theoretical references, about: early childhood sex education, the role of teachers in sex education, prevention protocols, among others. The research was carried out under the interpretive paradigm, with a qualitative approach and case study design, using research techniques: semi-structured interview and participant observation with their respective instruments. In conclusion, the implementation of the activity guide has been effective for children’s meaningful learning.
