Abstract
The research addresses the "Impact of art and curricular strategies in the main areas of knowledge" from a multidisciplinary approach in the educational context of the “Javier Loyola” Educational Unit, specifically, with students in the seventh grade of Basic General Education parallel A. A work plan was proposed aimed at children aged 10 to 12, focused on theater, drawing and collage workshops, with the aim of promoting participation and educational inclusion. Qualitative research and Participatory Action Research methodologies were used to develop effective educational inclusion strategies, especially for students with intellectual disabilities. The importance of inclusive strategies is highlighted, such as: cooperative work, student helper, interactive groups, among others, in areas such as Language and Literature, Cultural and Artistic Education (ECA) and Social Sciences to achieve the desired learning, focusing on promoting inclusion through the arts. The lack of participation of students with intellectual disabilities and the poor integration of subjects such as Language and Literature, Social Studies and ECA were identified as a problem to be addressed. The research also highlights the need to implement teaching methodologies that encourage creativity and analytical thinking of students in the area of ECA and other subjects, in order to overcome the barriers to educational inclusion and enhance the development of all students in an inclusive educational environment.
