Abstract
This research is oriented under the line of innovation, since a system of activities was carried out that seek to favor the incidence of motivation towards reading in the development of reading comprehension in fifth-year students. In such a way, that the observed problem refers to the reading difficulty that the students present in the classroom and it is thus that, through this strategy, the student not only acquires knowledge related to the academic area, since a key point of This system of activities is to provoke in the student a true taste and interest in reading, in which the student comes to understand the text that he reads, to emit his own criteria of what he has understood from reading. The Paradigm used is the critical partner and the approach used is correspondence to the mixed one, the same one that served for the analysis of the applied instruments, such as the teacher interview, the student survey and the observation sheet that leads to a triangulation between teachers -student and practitioner, which gives rise to the student's disinterest in reading, which makes it difficult for the reader to understand correctly and to the lack of application of strategies. In conclusion, the system of activities is to awaken students' interest in reading since it allows teachers and students to get out of their comfort zone and carry out learning outside of the traditional, where a more analytical, practical and practical learning is privileged- innovative.
