Abstract
The research work was carried out with the purpose of constructing a manual of teaching resources for the area of Mathematics in the General Basic Education of the educational institution "Ricardo Muñoz Chávez", through an intervention model with which it is intended to contribute to the teaching process Learning of Mathematics. This work provides diverse resources for the development of skills corresponding to the sublevels of General Basic Education, so that the students contextualize and give meaning to the learning during the educational process. The development of this study was carried out through participatory action research with a mixed approach, applying information gathering techniques such as interviews with the vice-rector and teachers and surveys applied to the students of the institution. The results of this research highlight the importance of implementing didactic resources in Basic Education for the teaching of Mathematics. In addition, it can be expressed that in the elementary and middle sublevel there is a greater use of didactic resources, mostly the concrete material, however, in the upper sublevel the use of didactic resources is limited as the concrete material.
