Abstract
The present investigation emerges from the educational needs evidenced in the fourth year of General Basic Education parallel "A" of the educational unit "Ciudad de Cuenca". The same one that is directed to study the possible problems related to the development of the teaching-learning processes of literacy in said classroom. The objective is to design a didactic strategy based on the use of theatrical frameworks to relate and implement them in the educational context and thus contribute to the possible improvement of literacy in the teaching-learning process of students. Thanks to the investigation of reliable sources, the approach and development of the investigation, such as the background and theoretical framework, was more easily allowed. The authors conceived constructs and meanings with respect to the subject, this being of benefit for the collection of information, at the same time that the methodology was the help of an effective result when obtaining data. The proposal consisted of workshops that are expected to be applied by teachers to children who present these difficulties, when analyzing the situation, an agreement is reached that meaningful learning must be full of creativity and patience. Theater is not such a popular subject in education, which is why it is innovative to try to teach from the perspective of theater mediation.
