Abstract
The main objective of this work is to present the benefits of using the Blog as a strategy to improve the learning process. The study was carried out at Remigio Crespo Toral basic education school in the city of Cayambe to the tenth-grade students, in view of the inadequate application of techniques that affect academic development; it is intended to provide simple and effective tools to change the way of learning, build knowledge and achieve significant learning. The conclusions justify the relevance that theory and practice maintain within the teaching-learning of Language and Literature. The suggestions favor the disposition within the teaching work to know and train about the use of new technologies. With the purpose of benefiting both students and teachers of Language and Literature subject. A Blog was developed as a support tool to strengthen and optimize the educational process. The results were flattering, since a high percentage of students gave their criterion of satisfaction in the use of the blog as a resource to strengthen the learning process of the Language and Literature subject.
