Abstract
The difficulty in accessing education for students with health conditions represents a significant challenge in hospital settings, such as the "Vicente Corral Moscoso" Regional Hospital. This study focuses on the need to respond to the demands of hospital education in this institution, contributing to the "Training of Hospital Educators, Inclusion and Decoloniality (Eduhospitality)" project. The educational barriers faced by this institution include physical limitations, insufficient resources, interruptions in educational continuity, and inequalities in access to education. The availability of educational resources and materials often fails to meet the needs of this group, compromising their right to receive a comprehensive education. The concept of learning environment was theoretically addressed from the perspective of Iglesias (2008) and León et al. (2018), who underline the versatility of a constantly evolving educational ecosystem. In this sense, the research aims to design a learning environment that responds to the specific needs of hospital education. An interpretive paradigm with a qualitative approach and a case study method were used, applying techniques such as observation and interviews, as well as instruments such as observation sheets and interview guides. Data triangulation allowed us to identify the needs present in the learning environment of the Vicente Corral Moscoso Regional Hospital. The results showed the need to design an inclusive learning environment that addresses these problems. Therefore, the proposal "The Inclusive Learning Astro-Environment" was developed. Ultimately, the study offers a functional environment that responds to the needs of hospital education through activities based on gamification, thus ensuring comprehensive educational continuity for students.
