Abstract
The Ecuadorian State seeks to undertake educational processes that generate a favorable impact on society. To achieve this, the Ministry of Education has established actions that promote the measurement of the satisfactory level of quality standards and their subsequent follow-up. The objective of this research is to propose a Follow-up Audit Guide from an external evaluation approach to the General Regular Audit of 2019, through a contextualization and based on official guidelines, for the assessment of the 32 quality standards that have observations in the Vicente Anda Aguirre Educational Unit. The methodology contemplated is through an interpretative paradigm that allowed observing the institutional reality without modifying any aspect, through a qualitative research, non-experimental type, by means of a case study. The information was gathered with the help of an interview with three experts in Educational Auditing, obtaining favorable results in which it is indicated that it is adequate and compiles the institutional needs of evaluation. It is concluded that the elaboration of an external evaluation guide allows knowing the institutional reality towards constant improvement and the achievement of educational quality.
