Abstract
The present research is focused on the analysis of the application of a virtual tool (website) as a ludic strategy in the students of the second year of high school, in addition it has a socio-critical paradigm with a mixed approach, for this several data collection techniques and instruments such as participant observation, surveys, interviews with the teacher of the institution and student evaluations (pre test and post test) were carried out. The classes of the second BGU as a sample are: A, B and D of the educational unit César Dávila Andrade, through the aforementioned data collection techniques, the absence of participation and non-compliance of activities was highlighted, the students' grades allowed identifying the topics to be reinforced, being these: DNA, chromosomes, DNA duplication, mutations and natural selection. The proposal consisted of analyzing, designing, developing, implementing and evaluating the playful strategy in parallels A and B, as experimental groups, while the proposal was not applied to parallel D, this being the control group. With the evaluation through the post test, and the contrast of the results, it is concluded that the parallels A and B managed to obtain a better academic performance, compared to the control group in which the virtual tool was not applied.
