Abstract
This research project reflects on a proposal for a pedagogical accompaniment plan with the aim of improving the performance of teachers in the Santa Marianita de Borrero Educational Unit of the City of Azogues. To achieve this purpose, several bibliographic references on the accompaniment of teachers were consulted, in addition to the situational diagnosis of the educational institution to finally develop a plan, based on similar experiences within and outside the country on this subject, taking into account the legal aspects, supporting regulations, drawing on research into active teaching methodologies, inclusive good educational practices, training in microcurricular planning, and the application of new techniques and instruments to assess learning.
The procedure used for project planning and design was based on the application of the Participatory Action-Research method due to its high degree of efficiency in terms of the expected results. To collect the information, survey and observation techniques were used; the respective instruments were a questionnaire and a class observation sheet. The statistical data provided during the investigation were rigorously analyzed and objectively interpreted and represented by graphical diagrams. After this, the corresponding conclusions and recommendations were established on the use of paths in the execution of the pedagogical support plan and its relevance to improve teaching performance, which will be reflected in significant progress in student learning.
