Abstract
The constant change that the society has been living nowadays, has created the necessity in schools of doing educative innovations which must be adapted to our reality, for this reason, this research presents some methodological strategies, these strategies could improve collaborative and active learning therefore students will become the principal part of the teaching – learning process. A didactic unit must be done about the independence process in Ecuador and how woman was involved. This unit is part of the educative curriculum; strategies are applied using theoretical and cognitive fonts acquired during the teaching – learning process given in the master formation to show the domain of knowledge in our field, obtaining a positive experience by the students in innovating alternatives proposed in History and Geography Secondary teaching
