Abstract
This research project arises based on the needs of the boys and girls of the "Alberto Astudillo Montesinos" Early Childhood Education Center, Sub-level 2, in this context certain shortcomings in the development of fine motor skills were evidenced, due to insufficient stimulation in arms, hands and fingers. Thus, in order to solve the problem, the objective is to implement didactic strategies for the development of fine motor skills in boys and girls in its two dimensions: Visual-manual and gestural coordination. With the theoretical contributions of various authors, the importance of fine motor skills in the integral development of children and the types of methodologies that the teacher and family tutors can use to reinforce each of the learning processes is demonstrated. The research methodology corresponds to the action research method oriented to a qualitative approach, with a socio-critical paradigm. In addition, information collection methods, techniques and instruments were applied such as: participant observation, interview, field diaries, observation guide and a survey. Through the proposal entitled "Funly" it is shown that with the application of the didactic strategies and the activities implemented, results were obtained that benefit the development of fine motor skills.
