Abstract
The titling project is a work of educational innovation that comes from the experience gained in apprenticeships. The proposal consists of the adaptation of a learning environment of the subject of mathematics through the use of didactic resources that contribute to inclusive education. "Breaking barriers in mathematics" is projected in the Educational Unit Zoila Aurora Palacios, in the city of Cuenca, in the sixth year of Basic General Education (EGB) parallel "A". The objective is to adapt a learning environment through didactic resources to develop the skills with performance criteria corresponding to the didactic unit # 6 and, thus, contribute to inclusive education. The focus of the research is mixed, has a correlational scope; using as a method, the case study. The sample is not probabilistic, the techniques used for data collection are: participant observation, interview, bibliographic review. The instruments used are appropriate techniques: observation guide, interview guide, diagnostic test, summative test. The general conclusion shows that the adequacy of the learning environment and the use of didactic resources allows inclusive education in the teaching and learning of mathematics.
