Abstract
Education prioritizes meeting the needs of students, promoting quality learning that facilitates the acquisition of knowledge and experiences. This study proposes a didactic strategy using ChemicalAid to teach stoichiometry in the second year of unified general baccalaureate. In this sense, the aim is to encourage active participation of students, motivating them to explore and understand key concepts of stoichiometry through practical and dynamic activities. The study is framed within quasi-experimental research that includes an experimental group of 21 students and a control group of 21. The approach is mixed, using information obtained from participant observation, surveys, pretests, and posttests. The intervention proposal was designed following the ADDIE model, with 9 phases developed over a period of 5 weeks. The results showed a significant difference in the comparison of mean differences through the T-Student test of the control group's pretest-posttest with a difference of 2.21 and the experimental group with 1.87. This allows us to conclude that this work has the potential to transform the teaching of stoichiometry through innovative approaches and didactic pedagogical strategies, thereby improving student learning in the subject of stoichiometry. Finally, the possibility of replicating this approach in different chemistry topics and for different courses is suggested, expanding its educational impact.
