Abstract
This research proposes a methodological guide aimed at promoting the development of fine psychomotor skills in a girl with hearing disabilities who attends Initial Level 1 at the Nicolás Vásquez de Paute Specialized Educational Unit. To this end, a unique case study was identified, focused on a 5-year-old student diagnosed with bilateral deafness. A theoretical approach is used that integrates both the psychomotor development proposed by Quiros, Fernández and Cristo and the approach to hearing impairment outlined by Román, Carrosa, Sánchez, López, Obera and Arky. Through data collection through instruments such as interviews, field diaries, observation guides and documentary analysis, the difficulties in their fine psychomotor development were characterized. The results obtained were processed through triangulation and compared with relevant bibliographic information. The findings of the investigation revealed that the student has difficulties in performing tasks such as holding a pencil, manipulating objects and basic skills such as cutting in a straight line, in addition to a lack of coordination in daily activities, difficulties in understanding concepts. temporary, in memory, attention, behavior and responsibility in caring for belongings. In response to these findings, a methodological guide has been designed that includes playful and flexible activities adapted to the needs and interests of the student, allowing the active participation of all people involved in the teaching and learning process to be encouraged.
