Abstract
The objective of this study is to improve the evaluation of reading comprehension in eighth grade students in the area of Language and Literature of the Educational Unit Ciudad de Coca, through the use of the digital tool Quizizz. As part of the methodology, a qualitative study with a descriptive scope was conducted. The information obtained was through the application of an evaluation rubric as an instrument, which has been evaluated by two experts and socialized to three teachers of the E.U. The population chosen for the elaboration of this research was the Ciudad de Coca Educational Unit, and the selected sample was the students of the eighth year of elementary school. The results obtained were 10 points for the experts and 9.73 for the teachers. The respective recommendations were made, concluding that the use of the Quizizz tool facilitates the teacher to evaluate the student in a dynamic, interactive, playful and participatory way. Finally, a proposal was presented with the recommendations of the experts and teachers.
