Abstract
This Curricular Integration Work (TIC) entitled Relational violence: an analysis of social interactions among preadolescents in General Basic Education (EGB), seeks to understand this social phenomenon present in the dynamics of social interactions among students in General Basic Education (EGB). The objective of this work is to analyze its origin and to improve the quality of the social relationships of the students. Thus, the key informants were the students, the legal representatives and the teacher of the seventh grade of EGB of an educational institution in the city of Cuenca-Ecuador. The main theoretical references were the Theory of Psychosocial Development by Erik Erikson (1950) and the theory of Liquid Love by Zygmunt Bauman (2003). To carry out the research, the sociocritical paradigm and the qualitative approach were chosen in order to understand the object of study from a critical and participatory perspective. In addition, the Logical Framework Method (LFM) was used through a causal analysis (cause and effects) of the study phenomenon, with the support of information techniques and instruments such as participant observation, field diary, survey, questionnaire and problem tree. Finally, the results achieved in the implementation of the intervention plan showed that the development of activities focused on the needs of both legal representatives and pre-adolescents had a positive influence on personality development, since awareness was raised about appropriate parenting styles, awareness was raised about education in values and the correct use of social networks was taught, with which they assumed their co-responsibility.
