Abstract
This research project aims to contribute to the expression of emotions, feelings, and experiences, using sound art from the Reggio Emilia approach. The project focused on children from 4 to 5 years old in classroom 4B at the "Ciudad de Cuenca" Children's Center. In educational settings within the scope of artistic expression, the planned activities are usually focused on fulfilling a single objective or skill without allowing the free expression that could be generated from the practice of art. The project is structured from a qualitative and applied research perspective, using Research-Action methodology. In the diagnosis, application and evaluation phase the researcher used participant observation, and surveys in search of collecting the appropriate data. As a result of the application of the proposal, it is possible to establish that the use of sound art through pedagogical provocations and free experimentation has allowed children to express their emotions, feelings, and experiences, fulfilling the purpose of this investigation and the objective of the Initial Education Curriculum. This project has been structured from its theoretical basis with Reggio Emilia and pedagogical provocations, recognizing their teaching-learning approach. Also, the research considered sound art as a new approach to a different artistic manifestation, to influence the expressions of emotions, feelings, and experiences, being the objective of the proposal.
