Abstract
The purpose of this research was to contribute to the development of oral language through a learning experience based on Reggio Emilia pedagogy, which arose from the need diagnosed during the period of pre professional practices developed at the Early Education Center (CEI) "Alberto Astudillo Montesinos, where it is evident that a significant percentage of infants from 4 to 5 years of age have difficulties in expressing themselves orally. For this purpose, it was decided to work with the action research method, taking into account the qualitative approach and the socio-critical paradigm, highlighting and analyzing the interactions and relevant behaviors arising in the context of the object of study during the development of the research. In addition, the development of oral language, the importance of the family in its acquisition and its conception within the Early Education Curriculum were approached in a theoretical manner. The objective was to validate a learning experience based on Reggio Emilia pedagogy that contributes to the development of oral language with children from 4 to 5 years of age. In order to achieve this objective, the pilot plan was validated by the infants, teachers and legal representatives, as well as the validation of the proposal by expert criteria. The results of the application showed a great contribution to the development of oral language through free expression and active listening
