Abstract
The improvement of evaluation processes is a concept that must be resized in teaching, diversifying the different evaluation methods so that they integrate characteristics of didactic-pedagogical innovation and that adequately comply with the regulations required by the national curriculum of Ecuador. Thus, the objective of this degree work is to design, implement and evaluate a protocol that guides the implementation of formative evaluations in order to optimize the teaching-learning process in the subject of language and literature in the ninth and tenth year of Basic General Education. For this, a research methodology with a qualitative approach was used, and an analysis methodology based on triangulation of data. Techniques with an exploratory-descriptive scope such as participant observation are used, as well as data collection instruments such as field diaries, interviews, questionnaires (pre and post test). As a result of the implementation process, an improvement in the educational processes is evident from the incorporation of different didactic strategies, educational actions and formative evaluation resources such as word networks, descriptive feedback, co and self evaluation, diagnosis educational, among other chords with the context and the student population.
