Abstract
The present research tries to solve the problem: How to address learning styles in the curricular block 2 "Human body and health" in sixth grade students of the Amaluza Educational Unit? For this purpose, a search and theoretical analysis of learning styles was carried out to support the study and identify the category and subcategories of analysis that guided the research. An interpretative paradigm is assumed, under a qualitative approach and a single case study; in addition, diagnostic techniques and instruments were applied such as: the teacher interview, the analysis of the Didactic Unit Plans (PUD), classroom observation and data triangulation; which allowed identifying the barriers that limit the attention to learning styles in the case studied. Among the needs found were: traditionalist classes; use of the text as the only resource for the completion of tasks; oral explanations by the teacher as a strategy for the construction of learning; lack of knowledge of learning styles; absence of strategies and resources for the teaching-learning process; poorly structured didactic planning. Based on this result, a proposal was made to propose didactic strategies for the attention to the different learning styles in curricular block 2 "Human body and health" in students of the sixth year of EGB. Finally, a survey was designed for the validation of the proposal by experts, from which favorable results were obtained for its implementation.
