Abstract
The present work is the implementation of a didactic unit, for eighth grade students of EGB of the Andres Bello National School of the city of Quito, the theme that is planned is: mestizo, indigenous, Afro-Ecuadorian, Montubia cultures of Ecuador and their different popular demonstrations.
It will focus on enhancing the value of the different cultures that exist in our country, for the achievement of the same is planned to implement a series of innovative methodological activities; all these activities proposed throughout the intervention will be related to theories of multiple intelligences developed by Howard Gardner.
At the end of applying the didactic unit, it was understood the importance of working with different pedagogical activities that motivate the development of the multiple intelligences that each student possesses and through this one can build meaningful learning.
