Abstract
The lack of interest in both written and oral narratives, especially in the topic of myths and rites, which are essential for culture and national identity, due to traditional behavioral strategies, causes this study to be carried out, which aims to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of Google Classroom in the subject of language and literature to achieve meaningful learning. The methodology is based on a positivist paradigm with a mixed approach. The study population is made up of 29 students who belong to the eighth year of EGB. The results reveal that the implementation of this platform effectively promotes the understanding of oral and written texts of abstract complexity that collect the beliefs, myths and rites of the eastern community of Ecuador. In such a way that 53.6% of the students feel motivated in their learning when using classroom and in another matter, 60.7% indicate that they have no technical problems in using this platform. Finally, the conclusions found show that this platform can motivate students to learn autonomously and develop their digital skills from ubiquitous environments, thereby deepening the quality of teaching and strengthening cultural identity in the community.
