Abstract
The purpose of this research project was to design a guide of activities through ludic strategies for the learning process of the skill with performance criteria M.3.1.28, in 6th grade "B" of EGB, at the Alfonso Carrión Heredia Basic Education School. For its elaboration, the theoretical contributions of Balladares, educational neuroscience, and the signals of the prioritized curriculum with emphasis on competencies were considered. This proposal is given after the identification of difficulties in Block 1 of Algebra and Functions, unit 4. addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of decimal numbers, in the subject of Mathematics. For the methodological framework, a qualitative approach and the participatory action research method were used. For data collection, field diary, observation guide and tests were applied. Taking into account that the interest, attention and memory of the students are essential in the construction of meaningful learning, and based on the results, the proposal of the guide of playful activities and active spaces for the students was elaborated. In its application, it was observed that the interaction, dynamism and curiosity generated by the activities contributed to teamwork, cooperation, organization, assimilation of roles and exchange of knowledge, which favored the learning of the basic operations of decimal numbers.
