Abstract
The present work of curricular integration is entitled: Development of oral language through the pedagogy of the image in children of 4-5 years of the Center of Initial Education "Alonso Torres". Its general objective is the implementation of a booklet of activities through the pedagogy of the image as a contribution in the development of oral language. The theoretical foundation is fundamental since it guides in a significant way with the skills taken from the Field Understanding and expression of language in the design and implementation of the booklet of activities, whose work is based on the educational proposal. The methodology used is Research – Action, with a qualitative approach, with a socio-critical paradigm of applied type in which the diagnostic categories, techniques and instruments such as: participant observation, field diaries, interview, focus group and question guides are applied to obtain initial results. Likewise, to present important findings, one of them is that the implementation of the booklet favors communication between teachers, children, parents, and that the application of image pedagogy in classroom activities increases the verbal and communicative expression of interaction, likewise, it is recommended to the CEI Alonso Torres to make use of the booklet both a replica and make adaptations according to the needs of the infants.
