Abstract
This research work assesses the impact of the application of STEAM projects to contribute to the development of soft skills in high school students in the subject of Physics; theoretical foundations on STEAM methodology and socioemotional skills were systematized, and several indicators related to the development process before implementation were diagnosed through the contents of the Physics book; For this, a methodology composed of a socio-critical paradigm and a mixed approach was used through the application of techniques (observation, survey, interview) and instruments (field diaries, questionnaire and question guide) and the contribution of the research (didactic guide based on the STEAM methodology). For the execution, a guide is elaborated with 6 projects for each Physics unit of the 1st BGU, each one with rules for the development of the corresponding skill, project materials, steps to follow, sessions according to the different class topics and the respective evaluation. Finally, it is concluded that after implementing the proposal, favorable results are obtained in the development of skills working with the area of Physics, evidencing a better understanding and acquisition of skills.
