Abstract
The development of this research aims to implement a didactic alternative for the development of logical mathematical thinking in students of the tenth year of (EGB). With the purpose of forming students capable of thinking, reasoning and reflecting on their daily and academic actions. Mathematics is immersed in the life of the student, that is, is present in each of the activities that he performs in his daily life. In these moments the student interacts with the math unconsciously is putting into practice mathematical skills such as: calculation, reasoning, analysis, reflection, among others. This gives way to the researchers of the present work to focus on the logical part of the mathematics that the student must develop to achieve meaningful learning. To do this, a didactic alternative was designed and implemented to develop logical - mathematical thinking during the teaching - learning process (PEA). Taking into account the teachers have to develop certain skills raised in the Curriculum 2016, the same that are achieved by covering the contents of the text, the purpose of the alternative is to develop logical thinking in the course of the PEA of mathematical content. For this reason it consists of three Didactic Unit Plans (PUD), with activities linked to Problem-Based Learning (ABP), for the upper sublevel of the Basic General Education (EGB) taking into account the mathematical curricular blocks.
