Abstract
The Curricular Integrative Work (CIW), called "Ludic Activities focused on family involvement of children from the CEI Totoracocha," aims to strengthen family participation in the education processes of children in Initial Education 1 at the CEI "Totoracocha" in the city of Cuenca (Ecuador) through guided ludic activities within the Sphere of Coexistence. Within this work, the importance and responsibility of the family in the educational development of infants are highlighted, justified by authors such as Ibarra (2014) and the Ministry of Education of Ecuador (2019). The methodology of the work is a case study with a socio-critical paradigm and qualitative approach. Likewise, the relationship and strategies used by the CEI to work with the families of children in Initial Education 1 were diagnosed with the help of the following research techniques: interview, focus group and participant observation. The results reveal a fairly low relationship between family and school, resulting in poor educational development in children. Therefore, a booklet of activities called "Play with me in shared activities" was presented, which focused on the sphere of coexistence and was worked on jointly.
