Abstract
This work of Curricular Integration, called Expression of emotions in 3–4-year-old infants through the quiet games corner of the "Maria Montessori" Early Education Center, proposed playful-artistic activities using a didactic corner, the objective was to contribute to the effective expression of emotions in the infants of the "D" parallel Kindergarten 1. The methodology used corresponds to the interpretative paradigm, framed in the case study from a qualitative approach. To collect data, the following techniques were used: interview and participant observation with their respective instruments: question guide, observation guide and field diaries. The descriptive analysis of the results allowed the identification of the problem and the development of an educational intervention proposal based on Reggiana pedagogy and play. The pilot validation of 40% of these activities confirmed that favorable results were obtained in their execution. As a positive result, the children were able to express and recognize their basic emotions: joy, sadness and anger. Additionally, an effective social interaction with their peers was achieved, improving their ability to react to stimuli and showing favorable behaviors.
