Abstract
School coexistence is a relevant issue today, the study aims to develop a guide to support the director in creating a manual for harmonious coexistence, based on the standard (D3.C1.GE15) which covers the dimension of Coexistence, School participation, and Cooperation at the Unidad Educativa Manuel Abad. The research is based on a field study with a non-experimental design. Using a case study method, a qualitative approach, it analyzes educational processes as a social phenomenon and contains an interpretative paradigm since it will generate results in the specific context of an educational institution. Data collection was flexible, applying techniques such as direct observation, interviews, and focus groups using various instruments to gather information. The results were analyzed and interpreted, revealing the need to advise the director in the construction of a harmonious coexistence manual that allows for improving the institutional climate and reducing conflicts. It is concluded that the implementation of a guide to support the director will allow enhanced coexistence among the members of the educational community, which includes an introduction, justifications, institutional identity, action protocols in the face of conflicts, implementation, and evaluation strategies. In conclusion, it is necessary to provide the director with the elaboration of a manual on the coexistence of the members of the educational community, because it will facilitate the planning of agreements and commitments to support the development of harmonious coexistence.
