Abstract
The motor story is a new stimulating and motivating methodology for infants, which helps develop skills, basic skills such as imagination, creativity, management of emotions, feelings and cognitive development. For this reason, in the present research work conducted at the "Totoracocha" Early Education Center in the city of Cuenca focused on the objective the implementation of the educational intervention proposal through workshops based on the motor story directed to children from 3 to 4 years of age, of sub-level 2, of parallel "B" sustaining in scientific reading of authors such as Montesdeoca (2015), Frias (2014), Omeñaca (2011) and Conde (2001), these authors are the most relevant in the present research curricular work. The study was developed through an action research, socio-critical paradigm, qualitative approach, diagnostic categories and subcategories that guided the proposal were raised, the resources used for data collection were semi-structured interviews, participant observation, field diaries and checklist. Favorable results were obtained in the research through the implementation of children's workshops, obtaining progress in the development of psychomotor skills in children, this proposal was innovative, creative and dynamic, which worked with the motor story, thus achieving an exploration with the world around them. Finally, as an important conclusion of our research is that it contributed significantly in the learning of infants, through symbolic play, psychomotor skills were worked with the help of the motor story in a creative and innovative way, with the infant participating in their learning.
