Abstract
This innovation project is based on the lack of students' interest and participation during Math classes. For meet this need, it is proposed the elaboration of a didactic guide with different strategies, didactic and technological resources is proposed, that are focused on promoting the protagonist participation of the fifth-grade students in this subject. In the didactic guide, a lesson plan is presented that consists of the three moments of learning in detail in order to facilitate its understanding. In addition, strategies that are important in the teaching-learning of mathematics are considered and based, such as problem-based learning, gamification and collaborative work; which are focused in the development and implementation of the skill with performance criteria that was worked on in mathematics. To develop this project, participant observation, diaries and an interview with the teacher were used, to analyze the information obtained and provide a solution to the problem. As a result of the applied didactic guide, active participation was evidenced in the students, since the activities increased their motivation and interest. So, in conclusion, the innovation in the classroom generates in students a leading role in the building of their own learning.
