Abstract
The purpose of the teaching-learning process of Biology is for students to be able to apply the contents taught in their daily context. The objective of this research work is to analyze the influence of active methodologies in the teaching-learning process of the nervous and endocrine system topic of the subject of Biology in second BGU students of the Luis Cordero Educational Unit. The research corresponds to a pre-experimental type with a qualitative and quantitative approach with a sample of 35 second BGU parallel A students and 1 Biology teacher. From the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the information obtained from techniques such as participant observation, survey, interview and pedagogical tests, which allow identifying a deficiency in establishing a theoretical-practical relationship of the contents, something basic for the development of the skills in the area of biology. From this, the need to implement active methodologies that solve the difficulties identified in the teaching-learning process is identified. Active methodologies are developed through 4 phases, the first focuses on a diagnosis, the second on the development of activities, the third on planning and implementation and finally the evaluation to measure the feasibility of the implemented proposal, resulting in a positive impact on the teaching-learning process of Biology in the topic Nervous and endocrine system, since the skills around contextualization were fully met.
