Abstract
Learning communities are an important factor in the educational field, as they contribute to improving school life and the achievement of learning. In the context where the research is conducted, there are brief features of these communities, but they are not enhanced as a factor that helps students develop. Therefore, its development is considered from the cooperative learning strategy as the main purpose of this work. From the qualitative research, under the participatory action research method, techniques and instruments such as observation, field diaries, unstructured interview and survey of the actors of the educational process are used, to diagnose and verify the viability of the draft. Also, a sociometric test and a questionnaire of multiple intelligences are applied to know the existing relationships within the classroom and form heterogeneous groups. At the end of the investigation, a survey aimed at students, the perspective of the participants as volunteers and an analysis sheet of activities carried out in class, indicate that diverse groups strengthen dialogue, interaction, and participation, thus promoting dialogic learning, a fundamental principle of learning communities, in the educational process.
