Abstract
The present project of non-formal educational practices on the conservation of the forest partner in the community of Mataje Alto and its influence on formal education, explores how rural communities can complement and enrich formal education. The study focuses on the forest conservation project known as "Socio Bosque". The project highlights the importance of investigating non-formal and informal education in the community of Mataje Alto, due to its significant role in the socioeconomic and cultural development of the community. These educators, coming from non-formal education environments, have used their skills and potential to transform education and socioeconomic conditions, creating opportunities for labor and cultural inclusion. The methodology for the reconstruction of significant practices was built, which highlights the importance of non-formal education in the transmission of ancestral knowledge, such as language, knowledge about nationality and productive practices beneficial to the community. It is argued that formal education, by itself, does not cover all aspects of the social development of Mataje Alto. Therefore, the research seeks to give greater relevance and recognition to non-formal and informal education, highlighting its vital contribution to the well-being and integral progress of the community.
