Abstract
The education retaken after the pandemic by the COVID-19, was a start from scratch in the classrooms, after the use of technological resources 100% during the development of classes for the construction of knowledge. For this reason, the present research entitled: didactic strategy to contribute to the academic performance of mathematics in the first year of BGU at UE Luis Cordero, proposes the use of didactic resources represented through the game as a suggestion for the development of classes in the classroom. During the pre-professional practices, the low level of academic performance in the students of the first year of BGU has been identified in the diagnostic evaluation developed by the students in which only 30% of the students master 80% of the DCD and the implementation of a scarce variety of didactic resources. For the development of the research, the bibliographic analysis is carried out, the methodological analysis in which the research is based on a socio-critical paradigm, with a quasi-experimental type of research, in which 31 students of the First of BGU parallel F belonging to the experimental group and 33 students of the First of BGU parallel E belonging to the control group. Also, the design and implementation of the didactic strategy, to then analyze the results obtained. With which it can be concluded that the proposal has contributed positively to the teaching-learning process in mathematics, reflected in the change in academic performance.
