Abstract
Interdisciplinary projects are educational approaches that integrate multiple disciplines to solve complex problems or explore topics of study. The objective of this research is the implementation of four interdisciplinary projects for the improvement of academic performance in mathematics and chemistry with high school sophomores. The methodology is based on a mixed quasi-experimental approach with the participation of 77 students. The results show improvement in logical reasoning skills, manipulation of chemical elements, interaction in the process and curricular knowledge. It is concluded that interdisciplinary projects contribute significantly in the teaching-learning process in mathematics and chemistry, allowing to approach the contents of important topics, in addition, to reach a broader conception and complete sense of the contents by relating them.
