Abstract
The research is focused on the use of the didactic strategy of gamification through the use of the Scratch Tool in the process of writing stressed and accented words. This digital tool allowed teachers to improve educational learning processes by directing correct writing. of words, and it also becomes a useful and innovative tool in the teaching process. This proposal was executed, because the lack of interest of the students of the sixth year of basic education of the Fiscomisional Educational Unit “La Inmaculada” belonging to the canton of Santa Isabel, province of Azuay, was evident; in the reading and writing of accented words, for this reason the Scratch tool was implemented as an innovation proposal to improve learning and achieve mastery and skills in writing accented words. Therefore, a didactic proposal was designed with the use of the Scratch tool, which benefited the correct writing of words with an accent by making the correct use of the spelling rules, in this way it was guided step by step how to execute the use of the digital application. The methodology used in the research is carried out based on the interpretive paradigm, because it allowed us to base all the information obtained through the information collection instruments, in this way it was possible to understand the experiences of the subjects in relation to the objective of the research. research and therefore to the innovation proposal. The line of research was based on the qualitative approach that considers the analysis of data collected through the instruments applied to the subjects, which thanks to them it was possible to make a critique and obtain the contributions and opinions that allowed the foundation of the proposal. In the research, the descriptive study type is applied, which, through the observation guides and the application of the focus group technique guide, allowed obtaining information from the subjects regarding the management and knowledge of the Scratch tool in the processes. educational. As a technique, participant observation was applied, and an observation sheet, which allowed the necessary information to be collected, the interview and the tool were also used through a guide with questions, another technique applied is the Focus Group to the legal representatives and the tool the question guide. With the development of the proposal, teachers were provided with an orientation guide for the use of the Scratch tool, which was validated by a group of experts from various educational institutions, giving viable acceptance to the educational proposal. This proposal is a guide. which is structured with step-by-step instructions on how to execute it, it describes didactic sequences for the design of a class period. In addition, this guidance guide based on the use of the Scratch tool was socialized to students and parents, obtaining great acceptance because it will allow the improvement of students' learning, allowing them to develop competencies in the area of Language and Literature with respect to the correct writing of stressed words. That is to say, the research will allow the development of skills in the management of orthographic rules in the writing of accented words, favoring students in the understanding and application of knowledge, it will also favor the pedagogical practice of teachers and therefore the entire educational community, because it supports an innovative proposal based on information and communication technologies.
