Abstract

This chapter - statistics and probability - is designed to work with eighth grade school students. It is structure with ten lessons each one applying innovative strategies. The main goal is to innovate and create a turning point to classic learning and teaching methodologies. Strategic methodologies are based upon: earlier knowledge, development points, motivation, use of ICT, didactic sequences, problem contextualization and solving, usage of environment elements, plays, teamwork, flipped classroom, and non-traditional assessment tools, applied during class. At the end of each lessons it was noticed positive changes in students, they show motivation to learn.
