Abstract
The work was planned to be applied to students of the First Year of Unified General Baccalaureate, of the María Angélica Idrobo Educational Unit, the theme chosen is the Roman Civilization.
The didactic unit will be taught through the use of Tics, applying the Tacs, these two terms have been combined since the teacher and the student of today need to be up to date in the use and application of the different pedagogical technologies. The teaching-learning of the Roman Civilization is divided into six sessions: session one The origins of Rome, session two The monarchy, session three The Republic, session four The expansion and crisis, session five The Roman Empire and the six session The cultural legacy of Rome, in each of the sessions was used videos that allowed the student to observe, analyze, participate and issue conclusions, leaving aside the typical class and putting into practice the use of technology.
It was also necessary to use web pages where the student elaborates complementary activities for learning such as carrying out crossword puzzles, soups of letters, which allow to consolidate the knowledge of the students.
This proposal aims to improve the teaching-learning process with the use of technology that the Educational Institution has today.
