Abstract
Education in the country is undergoing important changes in recent years. In order to achieve a quality education, audit processes for educational management are being developed, thus evaluating the level of compliance with quality standards, to achieve a culture of continuous improvement from the initial level to the baccalaureate, in such a way that students are prepared to face new challenges. The main tool to achieve this objective is the evaluation of compliance with educational quality standards, a role played by educational auditors at an external level. Knowing that the auditor obtains information that will contribute to continuous improvement, it is necessary to propose an audit methodological alternative through systematization. For this, in order to expand knowledge regarding auditing, evaluation and systematization, an epistemic foundation is carried out, and then proceed with the documentary review of the information that corresponds to the pedagogical management dimension of the teaching and learning component of the teaching professional performance standards in the Miguel Díaz Cueva Educational Unit, applying the systematization of the information. The development of this case study was carried based on the observation of phenomena in their natural context, with the collaboration of members of the Academic Board and directors of the Institution, who carried out valuable contributions sharing their experiences, observations and interviews, instruments through which it was possible to verify that quality standards are being met, but the scaffolding that should exist between these documents is not considered. The function of the auditor is to provide the authorities and actors of the educational system with information to improve and transform education, which is why it was managed to carry out a systematic evaluation of compliance with educational quality standards. This conclusion was reached after analyzing the results obtained in the application of evaluation instruments. Therefore, it is necessary to consider a new way of evaluating.
