Abstract
This work seeks to respond to the needs that arise in the teaching learning process of mathematics for a student with visual impairment. Due to the current health emergency that we are going through, this has caused teachers and families a series of questions and concerns about how to develop the process of teaching-learning mathematics, since, at the time of carrying out the classes under In the virtual modality, there are difficulties when using the different strategies and didactic resources, which are not accessible to the student who presents the aforementioned condition. Therefore, the general objective of this research work is aimed at developing a pedagogical proposal for the teaching of mathematics. For this, a methodological process based on qualitative research and specifically on the case study method was followed. The research techniques used to obtain information were: bibliographic review, participant observation, interviews, as instruments: bibliographic record, field diaries and interview guides. In general, it is concluded that the work of mathematics in students with visual disabilities is possible, as long as the teacher uses accessible teaching strategies and resources for each of his students. Achieving meaningful learning and comprehensive development.
