Abstract
In our experience as teachers we know that each student we receive in our classrooms has individualities, added to this the variety of emotions, feelings and moods. Thus, in the present work a program based on a series of activities and communication dynamics aimed at children of fifth year of basic education is proposed, with the purpose of promoting in them the development of emotional competences and thus favoring their integral development. Once the program is applied, it is imperative to highlight that the results were favorable, since the commitment acquired by the students in certain activities, and the way they enjoyed and shared with the group positively, was evident. In order to contribute to the rest of the student population, the term proposes improvements taking into account the institutional student diversity and parents as main agents in the development of children.
