Abstract
This project arises from the context of pre-professional practices carried out under the online modality in the eighth grade of Basic General Education. The research process has a mixed approach, with qualitative predominance, through the socio-critical paradigm, which found that homework do not contribute to the development of a written culture because the tasks focused mainly on textual reproduction, ignoring the social and contextual aspects of the students. To address this need, as a result of the bibliographic search, a methodological guide was designed for the didactic treatment of homeworks in favor of the development of written culture from social and contextual practice in the area of Language and Literature in students of eighth grade EGB of the San Luis Beltrán Private Educational Unit. The methodological guide includes actions and methodological principles to take advantage of the advantages that homework represents in terms of the development of written culture. Finally, to assess the proposed methodological guide, the consultation of experts was used, which indicated that the proposal of this project has a high level of relevance in the development of written culture through homeworks.
