Abstract
This research was oriented towards the analysis of the pertinence of the recommendations of the Final Audit Report to the General Regular Audit (ARG) on the professional teaching performance in the classroom of the multi-teacher school “Antonio Morales”, Paute-Azuay (Ecuador) in relation to the type of educational institution. This research is based on a qualitative approach, using the theoretical level (inductive-deductive and analysis-synthesis) and empirical (interview) and instruments for data collection (an interview guide and analysis guide of the information). For its study, the qualitative variable professional teaching performance in the classroom of the multiteacher school was divided into three subcategories: teaching strategies, learning environment, and achievement evaluation, defining for each of them an analysis criteria with five levels that range from nothing to highly correspondent. The results obtained revealed that the recommendations made in the final report of the follow-up audit to the ARG of the multi-teacher school “Antonio Morales” were not pertinent to the type of educational institution. Therefore, based on these results, some recommendations and suggestions are left that will serve as basis for future research.
