Abstract
The present Master's thesis titled "Expositive Text" was developed in a didactic sequence where essential competency blocks of the Language and Literature area were articulated for students of the tenth year of the higher basic level, with the objective of demonstrating the form and the correct use of expository texts, using oral and written skills. The results of the implementation of this work, showed that 70% of the students overcame the initial difficulties of developing oral and written comprehension and expression skills with respect to the expository texts. On the contrary, they became more apprehensive, dynamic and autonomous in their learning. In conclusion, being more aware in the development of the teaching profession and putting into practice in the classroom all the theoretical, didactic and pedagogical resources at our disposal, will allow us to achieve the desired objectives in a quality education.
