Abstract
The present Master's Thesis that has the title "Interculturality through the exhibition of legends of indigenous peoples of Ecuador and its influence on students of the Third Year of Unified General Baccalaureate, was carried out with the objective of improving the participation and academic performance of students in the area of Language and Literature, through the assessment of the intercultural diversity of the country in its different forms of expression to achieve the inclusion of all cultural groups, identify and expose legends of indigenous peoples of Ecuador to improve reading, writing, analysis, understanding and recreation of literary texts, as well as developing an integrating communication. The achievements reached by the students are; independence in the development of the activities of the didactic unit, active participation, understanding of literary texts and teamwork.
